Saturday night: Clemson at LSU, Lane Kiffin's debut
This is the one you plan around. Clemson at LSU, 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC, is the rare Week 1 game with a full month of stakes attached: Kiffin's first game in Baton Rouge against a Clemson side that just missed the preseason Top 25 with 112 votes — the first team out. Death Valley at night, a new era, and a defense that has to prove it can stop anybody on this stage.
